About the Role
We're looking for a Data Analyst to join our Customer Success team and lead the delivery of data-driven solutions for game studios. In this role, you will own the onboarding journey, serve as a trusted analytics advisor, and help build a data-first culture within our customers' organizations.

Key Responsibilities
• Drive Customer Onboarding: Guide customers through the onboarding process for ThinkingData's behavior analytics platform — including data collection design, SDK and event validation, and dashboard setup.
• Be the Analytics Expert: Act as a strategic partner to customers, helping translate business goals into measurable data strategies across collection, analysis, and reporting.
• Enable Data-Driven Culture: Provide ongoing consultation to support customers' digital transformation and promote best practices for data-informed decision-making.
• Industry-Focused Guidance: Research and curate analytics best practices tailored to game genres, lifecycle stages (soft launch, LiveOps), and business models (IAP, IAA, hybrid).
• Deep-Dive Analytics: Apply descriptive and diagnostic analysis to uncover gameplay trends, monetization bottlenecks, and user segmentation opportunities.
• Customer Support & Training: Be responsive to product questions, troubleshooting requests, and on-site or remote training needs.
• Knowledge Sharing: Contribute to internal knowledge bases covering analytical techniques, success stories, and game-specific metric frameworks.

Qualifications Required:
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in data analytics, preferably in gaming or digital product environments
• Strong SQL skills and experience building reports and dashboards
• Experience defining and analyzing key business metrics (e.g., retention, LTV, conversion funnels)
• Solid understanding of how analytics ties into product development, marketing, and operations
• Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills
• Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable working across customers and internal teams

Preferred:
• Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., data lakes, ETL pipelines)
• Experience with product analytics platforms (ThinkingData, Amplitude, GameAnalytics, Mixpanel)
• Understanding of LiveOps, AB testing, and in-game economy metrics
• Ability to balance hands-on analytics with customer-facing responsibilities

Why Join Us
• Shape the US expansion of one of the world’s most advanced game analytics platforms
• Work closely with leading developers and publishers across all genres and platforms
• Take ownership of high-impact projects across onboarding, strategy, and support
• Be part of a fast-growing, global team with a gamer-first mindset
• Competitive salary, equity options, and a flexible, remote-friendly culture
